life is a spinning twisting vertex of the unknown
with a dash of direction thrown in for ironic effect
a rhetorician could not mastermind a better argument than
to seek rabbit trails
the little things that take you off into fantastic heights
to go further than the pages of a novel
even the ones that make you hold your breath just a little or even
tear up in delight
because life is so much more than what they try to tell us
we must do or be or live by
this is important
remembering who they are
just little pins to prick into the map of life as sites visited
along the ride
passing attractions really when the real goal is cross over the edges into
uncharted territory
