illusions: NaPoWriMo #11
i like to remember what we did last summer, the lazy days filled with nothing but you and me.
falling back into silence: escaping, not unscathed.
i've found this time that words are not enough to describe feeling.
we found the old cape and hat inside a treasure chest.
you said you'd show me a magic show, pulling a bunny out of a hat.
i laughed, missing all the signs, as you presented your next trick.
i shouldn't have been surprised when you disappeared.
you were an illusion i wanted to believe in but you passed like mist into a place where the world is soft, touching nothing but clouds.
i named him after you.

I like it.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to edit it and make it better later... but I like the premise.
