schoolishness

This was the written part of my AP Literature Etymology project today. I like the way I wrote my name. So I took a picture. Enough of these brief sentences. I'm switching to a list.

- After spending the first eighty minutes of today being completely intimidated by my Spanish teacher, yo se yo necesito repasar mi espanol mucho... ugh. Must work on that this weekend. And...

- SAT prep is taking over my life. Or at least my Fridays and weekends. I really hope this is all worth something in the end, because it's a lot of work.

- I just downloaded Sara Bareilles new album "Kaleidoscope Heart." Love love love. Please download it? It's really good. Very much so based on poetry like lyrics with a positive beat.

- Read-A-Loud parties at the beach are fantastic. I just got back from the ocean last week. It was wonderful. On Tuesday it rained the whole day and my friends and I just read The Hunger Games out loud to each other. We alternated between the carriage house we were staying in and the covered Gazebo. Tea, apple cider, popcorn, and candy abounded.

- I also recommend 100 song dance parties. The rules? 100 songs, at least five seconds of each song before switching, using the shuffle feature on your ipod. Fairly simple, good exercise, intense fun.

That's about all the wisdom/speaking power I have for tonight. I think a photo post next. If you're a student, how are you adjusting to being back at school?

  2. It was fun. ;)

I want to send you Mockingjay just so you can read it! But I will suggest sitting in a Barnes and Noble for a few hours instead and reading it. It's so good!
