Poetry Linkage

I don't think I'm supposed to say this but... My two favorite poets aren't famous. They're not even that well known. And they're both teenagers (pretty much). I'm still not quite sure how this happened. I'm guessing it started around this time last year, when I first met Maya. Maya writes a very unique kind of poetry. It was the first time I had truly been exposed to free verse style that made sense, that was beautiful, and so very real. I fell in love. Then I became exposed to Miss Erin and I have been absolutely amazed with the beautiful poetry she has been coming up with in the past few months. It simply blows my mind.

I adore both of these girls very, very much. If you haven't yet visited their blogs, you must. And I highly recommend "Carving" which is a collaboration work between these two lovely poets, and a source of inspiration to myself.

And no, I'm not exaggerating. Their poetry is simply wonderful. Enjoy :)
