two weeks from tomorrow

... I shall be on a plane flying to France. Truly, I'm excited, but right now that excitement is overwhelmed by the stress of ending JUNIOR year. I'm in a cage much like the one above. I need it to be over. My motivation for school ended immediately after AP tests were over, and the past few weeks have felt very unnecessary compared to the stress and intensity of that period. I had the SAT yesterday, I've had finals and projects up to my ears, and I'm ready to say goodbye to this year and hello to my last year of high school. I will say that again for emphasis-- my last year of highschool.

But on that note, I am going to France. I could even say I'm going to Europe, because yesterday the country total jumped from only France and England, to Italy and Switzerland as well! It should be fantastic. However, there will be a bit of driving time and flying time (heh) so I would love book recommendations! I know that I'm taking Les Miserables for sure, but I haven't decided on what other books to bring. There's limited space, so be thrify in your suggestions please! But send them send them send them. I needs ideas. And if you have any travel tips I'm always game for those too.

Thank yee! (:

  1. The Scarlet Pimpernel by Baroness Orczy. Perfect for a France/England trip.
