a few of my favorite things

I love Gilmore Girls. I love love love it. It's one of those shows you can watch over and over again, and it never gets old, and it's still hilarious, and you can't help but love it. That is, if it's your type of show. I used to be totally Team Chris, but I switched to Team Luke when I saw the light. "I just like making you happy..." Ahhhh! * swoon * And tell me, who doesn't cry tears of happiness when Rory and Lorelai make up again in the middle of season six? It's such a great show. I don't necessarily agree with all the morals, but it's clean, totally. It's the perfect I'm-a-girl-and-proud-of-it kind of show. So basically, I love it. :)

Another one of my favorite shows is LOST. Don't even get me started on why I love it... because honestly I don't a) understand or b) care to. I just accept the fact that I love it and enjoy it immensely. And since the new season started three weeks ago, I've been very happy indeed. So many "answers" that just inspire more questions! Again, you either love it or you hate it, and I love it.

I'm also a sucker for the oldies, as mentioned before. Some of my favorite shows are Gilligan's Island, Brady Bunch, Little House on the Prairie, Full House, etc. I've seen every episode.

A random post about my favorite televisions shows, but they're part of what makes up my extremely diverse interests. Anybody else a fan of these shows?

  1. I want to watch Gilmore Girls sometime since I've heard such good things about it (including your all-out love of it). Maybe this summer? Hmm...depending.

Never really watched any of the others (or at all) and probably never will.

Otherwise...Burn Notice. That's my favourite show without a doubt.

Danielle - I am so glad you crossed over to Team Luke. I welcome you with open arms. ;)

  3. Okay...taking your word for it; I just ordered the first season from Amazon (and headphones, Charlotte Sometimes, and the first four seasons of Bones. I should really not spend any more money until this school year ends. Do you hear me, Anilee? No more spending money.)

(See, normally I have wonderful self-control. However, I am also easily obsessed and impulsive, and sometimes that side wins out.)

  4. OK, well I absolutely love it. I think it's an intelligent show that is amazingly witty, fast pace, and fun. But don't blame me if you don't like it, and know that it go progressively better in my opinion as the seasons went on. And I hate Dean and Max, for the record. You'll know what I'm talking about later. I hope you like it though! (:

And thanks Asha :) I'll admit, I'm still a bit of a Chris girl sometimes, but Luke is just always there for Lorelai and she needs that. So yeah. I take fictional characters very seriously.

  5. I knew you preferred the later seasons, but I thought it best to start at the beginning. ;-)

And if I don't like it, I won't blame you. Actually, I like to watch things and handwrite stories, so there's always that, and that makes things better. Besides, a lot of people agree with you, based on reviews. It's a ridiculously well-received show.

Who does NOT take fictional characters seriously? :P

  6. In my opinion, the earlier seasons are better. But they're all good :)
