I have a new layout in honor of my spring fever yet acceptance that it is still winter. And I really, really love it. Thanks Q for showing me an awesome site to find new cute layouts!
Finals are over, I'm now officially halfway through my Junior year, and so relieved. The past few nights have been full of late nighters (or early mornings, depending on your perspective) and a general lack of sleep. I'm really excited to sleep in tomorrow (day off! yes!) and hang with my girls for a well earned movie night. I think I made it out alive (and by alive I mean all A's... I am a bit of a perfectionist at times) and with no permanent damage to show for it ;)
On a different note, I saw Avatar in IMAX 3-D last Saturday and... OH MY GOSH. IT WAS AMAZING! I completely loved it, which is really weird for me. Sci-fi, a movie everyone is buzzing about, normally I stay away from things with that combo. I can't even explain why I loved it so much, I just did. I thought it was spectacular and I can't wait to see it again. I'm going to drag all my friends to see it, I loved it that much. Email me if you want to know why, I could go on forever. I recommend it so highly! Particularly if you go in with really low expectations. I thought it was going to be completely stupid and ended up loving it. If you don't take it too seriously, and just appreciate the visually beauty of it... It's so beautiful! And soaking in the whole experience was an inspiring experience. I also glimpsed trailers for The Lightning Thief, which comes out very soon (!) and the new Alice in Wonderland. I'm really excited for both of those movies.
I'm trying to decide what music to buy with my itunes money. Thoughts?
Also, I'm reading Paper Towns right now and I like it. I'm a huge fan of the vlog brothers videos, have been for well over a year, so I thought it was time I read one of John Green's books. They're good. Too much profanity which throws me off a bit and would make me hesitant to recommend, but still enjoyable if you can handle it. I finished my massive rereads of all the Betsy-Tacy books a few weeks ago. That was so wonderful. I bought the new bound two set for the last six books and they are absolutely gorgeous (from the P.S. collections). If you haven't read those delightful little books yet, please please please do!
And now that finals are over I promise to be a better blogger. We'll see if that happens ;)
